Kimberly Marie Botto, 55, of Ocala, Florida passed away at her home on August 31, 2021. She was born November 12. 1966 in Ft Lauderdale, the daughter of Billy Joe Mathena and Kitty Sue Collins. She moved with her family to Inverness, Florida and graduated from Citrus High School. She met and married her husband, David Botto in 2000 and the two began traveling the country for David’s work and enjoying life and one another’s company. In 2020 they moved to Ocala to be closer to her family.
Kimberly was a true Florida girl. She loved people and most all animals, eating fresh oysters, listening to the music of Jimmy Buffett and Tom Petty and watching her beloved Florida Gators.
Kimberly is survived by her loving husband, David; her Mother, Kitty; Father, Billy; and her Brothers, Shawn and Mike.
A memorial service for Kim will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services (9695 SW 110th St, Ocala) at a later date with times to be announced soon.
