Fort McCoy – Melvin Eugene Keel, 87, passed away August 31, 2021. He was born April 29, 1934 in Kenova, WV, to Atho and Anna Keel. He was a building contractor for many years and served in the Marines.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Nathan Keel, Orville Keel, Chuck Keel.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Wilma Jean Keel; sons, Robert Keel, Eric Keel (Amy); daughters, Kimberly Keel (Debbie), Linda Moore (Wayne Vaughn); brother, Ronnie Keel; sister, Grace Ballard; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral will be 11:00 am, Friday, September 17, 2021 at Orange Springs Cemetery, Orange Springs, FL.
