George John Clapper passed away on 9/03/2021 at Hospice of Ocala after a 2-1/2 month illness. He was 78. Born on 09/30/1942 in Canton, Ohio. Most of his life’s work was in the construction business after he served in the United States Army for 4 years.
John was an avid gardener and loved keeping his yard looking the best. He was known by all the neighbors in Oak Run as the yard man. He was always ready to lend a helping hand if any neighbors needed anything and also to anyone on the street or side of the road that was in need.
John was an avid reader of the Bible and loved his Meadowbrook Church. Was always ready to discuss some scriptures in the Bible. He loved and was so devoted to his wife, Elizabeth, and his beautiful furbaby, Angel.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth and brother Roger (Rosie) of California, a daughter, Joanna Ross , four sons, Michael, Brian, Bobby Dean and John boy. He has numerous grandchildren. His brother-in law, Roland (B arbara) Verrico, sister-in-law, Ruth (John) Krueger and many nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by many.
