Habitat for Humanity hosting homeownership informational meeting

The Habitat for Humanity of Marion County will host a homeownership informational meeting on Saturday.

The meeting will be held at 11 a.m. at the Marion County Public Library Headquarters, which is located at 2720 East Silver Springs Boulevard.

During the meeting, the organization will discuss its Homeownership Program, which provides Marion County families with access, opportunity, and guidance on attaining an affordable home.

According to its website, Habitat for Humanity of Marion County, Inc. is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
