A new art and food festival will highlight local restaurants and raise funds for two local nonprofits.
The Ocala Art and Food Festival will take place on Saturday, October 2, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Magnolia Art Xchange, which is located at 531 NE 1st Avenue.
Hosted by Merchant Services of Ocala, the charitable event will highlight restaurants, local artists, and small businesses and raise funds for two local nonprofit organizations.
According to event organizers, local restaurants will prepare a specialty dish to represent their business at the event. There will be opportunities to try those dishes and other food throughout the venue.
Works of art will be on display from current resident artists of the Magnolia Art Xchange (MAX).
Admission to the event is $10 and includes two drinks. All of the proceeds from ticket sales, raffles, and auctions will benefit Kimberly’s Center and Ocala Outreach.
