Ocala – Clifton A. Alligood, 72, passed away September 16, 2021. He was born December 5, 1948 in Kissimmee, Florida to Madison A. Alligood and Bonnie Rowland.
Clif loved the Lord, his family, and his country. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Silver Springs where he enjoyed teaching Sunday School lessons and helping to maintain the church grounds. He served his country in the Navy, as well as the National Guard. He fought in Vietnam and was a proud Veteran. He loved golfing, refurbishing his home, and doing yardwork. He worked in the restaurant industry for many years and later as a real estate appraiser. He was dearly loved by many.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Barbara Lee Alligood and daughter; Terri Sydenstricker.
He is survived by his parents; Madison “Bud” Alligood (Elaine) and Bonnie Zapp, son; Jason Alligood (Shelly), daughter; Lisa Weber (Robert) and sister; Connie Campbell (Kevin). As well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Silver Springs at 2:00 p.m, with Pastor Wayne Hunter officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
