Bette Ann Harris, 74 of Citra, Florida, passed away on September 8, 2021, in Ocala, Florida.
Bette was born in Ayer, Massachusetts to Marjorie Ruth and Kenneth Dunn on November 28, 1946. She attended Westford Academy and graduated in 1964 with her seamstress certificate. She worked as a waitress when her children were young and was a housewife most of her life. She moved to Florida in 1969. Her hobbies included sewing and helping her friends and family. She She also volunteered at Fort McCoy School for 18 years, and North Marion High School for nearly 10 years so she could be close to her grandchildren.
Bette is survived by a brother, George Dunn (Shawna), son Robert Harris (Tracey), daughter Ruth Prince (Charles), daughter Debra Sue Harris. Grandchildren Krisa Lane, Brian Lane Heather Ann Harris, Celeste Jean Harris, Bradley Kincaid Harris, Jr., William Joseph Harris, Stephen Gibson, William Earl Gibson, Adam Joseph Harris, Elizabeth Ann Prince, William Earl Harris Prince, Nathaniel Doyle Bias (Coreena), and many nieces and nephews and all their children also. Great-grandchildren Bobbie, Brayden Lane, Kylan Davis, Raelena Harris, Abigail Harris, Anthony Harris, Tommy Harris, Allie Lane, Layla Lane, and Ophelia Joy Bias.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Earl Harris, her parents Marjorie Ruth and Kenneth Dunn, her siblings Walter Dunn, Virginia Taylor, Paul Dunn, June Campbell, and Mary Brooks. Her two sons William Earl Harris and Bradley Kincaid Harris.
Funeral services will be held at Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel 606 SW 2nd Ave Ocala Florida, 34471 on September 11, 2021, at 7pm with Pastor Jeffrey Matherly of Ocala Baptist Temple officiating. Visitation will be held at Roberts Funeral Home Downtown Chapel on September 11, 2021, at 6pm.
Bette also leaves behind many friends too numerous to count.
