James Marion Coleman, age 71, of Ocala, FL passed away on September 15th, 2021 in Ocala.
Jim was born in Vansant, VA to Carl and Marie Coleman on December 1st, 1949. He graduated from Groveton High School, Alexandria VA, in 1968. He served in the US Army from 1970 to 1973 as a helicopter Crew Chief, achieving the rank Specialist 5. He worked as a cross country trucker for more than 30 years. Jim loved spending time with his family, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and playing his guitar.
Jim is survived by his wife Gail and daughter Christy Fernandez of Ocala. Jim and Gail had just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary. He is also survived by brother Wayne Coleman, son-in-law Orlando Fernandez, and well-loved grandsons Alex and Kaden Fernandez. He was preceded in death by son James Michael Coleman.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Roberts Downtown Chapel with Pastor Debbie Pangrass of Marion Oaks Presbyterian Church officiating.
