Pet Supermarket has moved its popular east Ocala location to a new plaza just down the road.
The business completed a move last week to the Ocala Center plaza and is now open at 2023 East Silver Springs Boulevard, Unit 101. The business was previously located just a few blocks west of its new location along East 40.
According to Pet Supermarket social media, the company will use the larger space to offer new services, including a Self-Serve Dog Wash and Grooming station.
Excluding horse and other livestock stores, a few domestic and exotic pet stores are scattered throughout Ocala.
In July, Reefs-A-Lot opened a new shop along Maricamp Road that specializes in exotic fish.
In addition to the Pet Supermarket national chain of stores, Petco and PetSmart both operate southwest Ocala locations.
