Ocala Electric Utility will raffle off bill credits as prizes during a customer appreciation event next week.
The OEC Customer Appreciation Day will take place on Friday, October 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Citizens’ Circle, located at 151 SE Osceola Avenue.
The event is free and open to the public and will feature a variety of prizes, entertainment, family-friendly activities, educational items, and individually portioned grab-and-go meals provided by Mojo Grill and Catering Company.
As part of the event, OEU will raffle off bill credits to qualifying customers. In order to qualify for the bill credit raffle, guests must have a municipal service account.
Customers will sign up at the event and names will be drawn randomly to receive a voucher. There will be a limit of one voucher per household and vouchers must be redeemed within 30 days. Customers are responsible for redeeming their voucher with customer service office.

The event is being held in conjunction with Public Power Week, which runs from Sunday, October 3 through Saturday, October 9.
