No injuries were reported after a Marion County School Bus with 11 students on board traveled into the path of another vehicle this morning at a southwest Ocala intersection.
The accident took place this morning around 8:10 a.m. at the intersection of SW 49th Avenue and SW 113th Place, in Ocala.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the school bus was stopped facing west for a stop sign at the intersection. A 58-year-old Ocala man in a pickup truck was traveling north on SW 49th Avenue, approaching the intersection.
As the pickup truck reached the intersection, the bus proceeded into the intersection and began turning right onto SW 49th Avenue, traveling into the path of the pickup truck.
The left front of the bus collided with the right side of the pickup truck. There were no injuries among the students or drivers reported, according to FHP.
