Pumpkin patches return to Ocala, Marion County

Pumpkin patches are returning throughout the month of October across Ocala and Marion County.

Multiple churches, nonprofit organizations, and other groups are offering residents the opportunity to purchase pumpkins and participate in festivities starting October 1.

The Timberline Farm Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival begins October 1 and will take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through October 31. Activities include pony rides, music, food and drinks, the pumpkin patch, pumpkin chunkin’, farm animals, and more. Adult tickets are $8, children are $6, and children 3 and under enter free. The Ocala First United Methodist Church will host its Pumpkin Patch beginning October 15. The church is located at 1126 East Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala. For more information, visit the Ocala First United Methodist Church website.

The Pickin’ Patch, located at 11000 Rolling Hills Road in Dunnellon, opens on October 1 and will remain open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through October 24. The cost to attend is $5 per person, with children ages 3 and under free.The event will include a corn maze, a hay fort with slides, a hay maze, and live bluegrass music.
