Betty Landress Roland of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 77, surrounded by her loving family on September 25th, 2021. She is survived by the “Light of Her Life” daughter Lisa Roland Tuck (Mark) Vero Beach, Florida, granddaughter Nikki Tuck Russo (Dan) New York, New York, grandson Chad Tuck, Portland, Oregon, sisters Jean Bailey and Donna Duffy Fernandina Beach, Florida, a niece and three nephews that loved Aunt Betty and will miss her dearly.Betty was born on December 11, 1943 in Fernandina Beach, Florida to her late parents Donald Lang Landress and Agnes Cassady Landress. Betty moved to Ocala in 1963, where she worked as a beautician. She worked in salons in Ocala for 50 years, and eventually owned her own salon. Betty was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Reddick, Florida.
Funeral Services will be at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home in Ocala on Thursday, September 30th at 6:00 p.m.Betty will be buried in her home town of Fernandina Beach, Florida on Saturday, October 2nd at 10:00 a.m.
