The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information from the public regarding the apparent homicide of a 64-year-old woman in northwest Ocala.
According to an MCSO press release, deputies responded to the report of a death at 3380 NW 63rd Avenue in Ocala on Sunday, September 26 around 4:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased woman inside of the home. The woman identified as Judy Mielenz.
MCSO Major Crimes detectives responded shortly thereafter and began their investigation, determining the death is a homicide. Based upon their investigation, detectives believe there is no threat to the community. I
