Ocala woman arrested after allegedly striking female victim in head with shovel, biting her breast

A 37-year old Ocala woman was arrested after allegedly biting a victim’s breast and striking her in the head with a shovel.

On Thursday, September 30, an Ocala Police Department officer responded to an Ocala residence in reference to a battery.

According to the OPD report, a female victim states that she arrived at the residence to retrieve belongings from a shed located in the backyard. The victim says the residence belongs to her boyfriend’s mother and that both the victim and her boyfriend use the shed to store their personal belongings.

The victim says she wanted to retrieve items from the shed and pawn them to generate money to post bail for her boyfriend.

While the victim was in the shed, she overheard Lusjean Eden yelling incoherent statements that grew louder as Eden approached the shed.

The report continues that the victim turned around and saw Eden approaching in an aggressive manner with a shovel in hand. The victim states that Eden swung the shovel and struck her on the left side of her face.

The victim says that a physical altercation ensued, and Eden allegedly punched her multiple times on the head and bit her on her breasts. Attempts were made by the victim to push Eden away, and the two were finally separated when other people from inside the residence came outside to intervene.

The OPD officer on the scene observed a large scratch and bruising around the victim’s left eye and two bite marks on the victim’s left breast.

Eden was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail where she faces a felony charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She is being held on $10,000 bond, and her next court date is scheduled for Tuesday, November 2 at 9:00 a.m, according to jail records.
