The popular TEDxOcala returns for its 7th annual event at the College of Central Florida on Saturday, November 13.

The event features 13 speakers, and will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the college (3001 SW College Road).

The speakers include: Axel Martinez (Physician / Visionary / Servant); Cathlyn Melvin (Copywriter / Editor / Advocate); Chasman Barnes (Criminal & Social Justice Reform Advocate); Cynthia Coupe (Possibilitarian); Janie Lacy (Relationship Maven); Julie McClean (Leadership Coach / Trainer / Entrepreneur); Linell King (Physician / Author / Speaker); Lisa Shawver (Mindset Strategist); Maritza Coscarelli (Transformational Confidence & Speaking Coach); Patricia Tomlinson (Art Historian / Curator); Punam Saxena (Parent Impact Coach / Author); Sam Rasoul (Public Servant / Community Advocate / Bridge Builder); and Woodly Oralus (Entrepreneur / Thought Leader / Visionary).

TEDxOcala is an independently run organization that is licensed by TED, the popular nonprofit organization known for its short talks on a wide range of topics including science, business, and global issues, among others.

The theme of this year’s event is “FORWARD” and each ticket includes lunch and a snack, while parking is complimentary.
