WhimCycle will open a new resort for bicycle enthusiasts looking to take advantage of Marion County’s extensive trail offerings.
The business will celebrate its soft opening on Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30 at its newly constructed location at 3085 SE 95th Street in Ocala. The soft opening will feature live entertainment, food trucks, beverages, and bicycle rides, among other activities.
During the event, there will be two rides sponsored by Greenway Bicycles and Brick City Bicycles.
The resort will offer 13 park model cabins with daily rental rates. In addition, guests may bring and park their own recreational vehicles (RVs) at one of the 34 RV sites the business offers.
Surrounded by the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway, the resort provides easy access to some of the most well-known trails in the United States for mountain biking, hiking, and road cycling.
The company says it will offer bicycle rentals for riders of all experience levels, from beginning to professional.
