Food vendor, singer schedules released for Ocala Arts Festival

The food vendor list and singer schedule have been released for the Ocala Arts Festival, which begins in downtown Ocala this weekend. 

This year’s festival will feature over 150 artists and takes place on Saturday, October 23, and Sunday, October 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Ocala.

According to Fine Arts for Ocala, Inc., the organization behind the event, the festival features dozens of vendors and artists dispersed according to a new map.
The following food vendors will be on hand: Alston’s Chicken, Back Porch Burgers, Big Lee’s BBQ,  Brian’s Bites Concessions, Cora’s Kitchen, Curbside Cuisine, Curry Coma, Ede’s, Fun Time Foods, Gran Arepas, Grumpy’s Homemade Ice Cream, Mr. Paella by Primos Kitchen, The Krafty Kettle, and Kona Ice.
This weekend’s festival features live, local entertainment on two different stages. Singers and dancers will perform at Citizens’ Circle throughout the festival, with the schedule for both days listed below.
Performers on Saturday, October 23: Grace Christian School (10:00 a.m.), Florida Twirlers Academy (10:30 a.m.), Madison Street Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (11:00 a.m.), Honey’s School of Dance (12:00 p.m.), Dance by Sheila (12:30 p.m.), Premier Dance of Ocala (1:00 p.m.), West Port High School MCAA Dance Program (2:00 p.m.), and Footprints in Motion (3:30 p.m.).
Performers on Sunday, October 24: Footprints in Motion (10:00 a.m.), Elevations Academy of Dance (11:30 a.m.), Kaitlin Mitsunaga (1:30 p.m.), Belleview High School (2:30 p.m.), and The Arts District Performing Arts Studio (3:00 p.m.)
There will also be children’s activities presented by the Appleton Museum of Art.
