Reid’s architectural career spans four decades. Career highlights include designing an 18,000 square-foot hexagonal space to house the city library’s collection, designing The Cascades on Silver Springs Boulevard, and designing several downtown banks.
In the early 1990’s, prior to Brick City Adventure Park becoming a public park, he built his architecture studio at the bottom of the lime-rock quarry. Remnants of the office are still visible from the boardwalk and quarry floor.
