The city of Ocala Code Enforcement department will host a Downtown Fall Festival this week.
The festival will take place on Friday, October 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Citizens’ Circle, which is located at 151 SE Osceola Avenue in downtown Ocala.
The family-friendly festival will feature games, pony rides, magic tricks, a petting zoo, a costume contest and candy giveaways.
Local law enforcement and safety professionals will be on-site with trick or treat candy stations.
All ages are welcome and all children must be accompanied by an adult, according to the city. Sanitation stations will be set up throughout the event.
Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the costume contest winner will be crowned on the stage at Citizens’ Circle.
Free parking is available at Ocala City Hall (110 SE Watula Avenue) and across the street at the downtown parking garage (296 Broadway Street).
