Nearly 400 feral cats were sterilized during the annual Big Fix III event this week.
On Wednesday, October 27, 383 feral and community cats were sterilized during the third annual Big Fix event, according to event organizers.
The annual event is a collaborative effort among Marion County Animal Services, the Humane Society of Marion County, TLC PetSnip of Marion, and Sheltering Hands, Inc.
The event sought to reduce and prevent cat overpopulation in Marion County.
