George G. Kerridge, 77, of Ocala, FL entered into rest on Monday, October 25, 2021 at his home in Ocala, FL.
Born on May 24,1944 in Albion NY, he was the son of the late James and Frances (Grear) Kerridge.
George graduated from Albion High School and then went into the Navy from July 26, 1962 until August 30, 1966. On April 12,1969 he married Sharon Anne Miller. Together they made their home on the Ridge in Gaines, NY until 1998 when they relocated to Ocala, FL. He was employed at Kodak in Rochester, NY until his retirement and then worked for the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Gilbert’s Hardware. He enjoyed his Norton motorcycle and belonged to the NYNOA for many years.
George is predeceased by his parents and his brother, Clyde Kerridge and brothers-in-law, Robert C. Miller and Wade Darwin. He is survived by his wife Sharon, his nephews James Kerridge, Jason Miller and Steven Miller; his nieces, Heather (Ron) Kerridge-Smith and Rebecca Kerridge Lieving; two special nephews Dan & Jay Nottingham; several great and great-great nephews and nieces. He is also survived by sisters in laws, Linda (Kurt) Kerridge Benz, Donna (Steve) Miller-Gordon, Linda Darwin and brother-in-law, Michael (Donna) Miller.
Services for George will be held at a later date with times to be announced. Burial will be held at Mt. Albion Cemetery, Albion, NY.
