Represented by Tillman & Associates, the development plans to build 21 single-family, attached townhomes for the site, which is located adjacent to I-75, just north of its intersection with SW College Road.

According to the plan, all lots in the subdivision will be served by central water and sewer, and a home owners association will be established to manage the installation and maintenance of multiple community amenities.

The conceptual plan shows a layout with two groups of six units, one group of five units, and one group of four units spaced throughout the community. The plan calls for a pavilion area with a grill station, a sand volleyball court, and an open space.

The commission’s recommendation will be presented to Ocala City Council members, who will have the final vote on the request during their regular meeting on Tuesday, December 21.

The new development joins multiple others across the city and county that are in various stages of planning and development, including hundreds of townhome units.

That includes a proposed 280 units in the Ocala South Townhomes and another 300 townhome units as part of Rolling Hills.
