A job fair is being held at the College of Central Florida next week.
CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion and the College of Central Florida are holding a job fair at the college’s Hampton Center (1501 W Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala) on Wednesday, December 8 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Career Connections Job Fair is free to attend and open to all job seekers. The job fair will include a variety of industries and job levels, and entry-level positions will also be available.
High school diplomas are not required, and anyone interested in attending needs to register in advance at the Career Connections Job Fair registration website.
The following businesses will be in attendance: Central Florida Electric of Ocala, City of Ocala, City of Ocala Water Resources, Encompass Health, Marion County Public Schools (custodial, food services, and transportation), Marion County Board of County Commissioners, Ocala Oaks, Visiting Angels, and the World Equestrian Center.
CareerSource’s CEO Rusty Skinner said, “There are plenty of jobs available. Anyone who wants employment stands a very good chance of getting hired, and we are here to help.”
Those planning to attend are encouraged to dress professionally and bring printed copies of their current resume.
