Marion County Sheriff’s Office seeking donations to benefit at-risk children this Christmas

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community for donations to help provide a memorable Christmas experience for local at-risk children.

The sheriff’s office is partnering with the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches to raise donations that will benefit the children staying at the ranch locations. Many of those children may not have anywhere else to go during the holidays.

Over the past two years, MCSO has gathered a Christmas list from all the children staying at the ranches and has been able to provide each child with all of their requested gifts.

According to an MCSO Facebook posting on Saturday, the Twilight Cruisers car club recently gave a cash donation of $1,000 and a truck full of toys to help benefit local children in need.
