Ocala Tractor continues to move forward after sustaining structural damage from a large two-alarm fire last month.
Early in the morning on Thursday, November 18, Marion County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the 7000 block of N U.S. Highway 441 in Ocala in response to a commercial structure fire.
Nearly 30 units and 58 firefighters arrived on scene and launched a defense operation to get the flames under control shortly after 5 a.m.
In a social media posting shortly after the flames were extinguished, Ocala Tractor stated, “What do we do as a family at Ocala Tractor in tough times? We stick together and move forward.”
On Thursday, December 2, the company announced the first of its temporary homes to accommodate staff and the store’s inventory of parts.
On Friday, December 3, the company received two additional temporary homes and stated in a Facebook posting, “We are ready to continue to serve our community.”
Staff continues to work hard as the company’s online parts store serves customers twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
