Early Learning Coalition of Marion County is hosting a donation drive to benefit local families that are in need of baby supplies.
The Basics for Babies Holiday Drive is currently underway, and the learning coalition is accepting donations at its Ocala location (2300 SW 17th Road).
The most needed items include hygiene supplies (diapers and wipes), safety equipment (car seats and pack ‘n plays), and children’s books (baby board books).
Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours on Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The learning coalition strives to ensure all Marion County children are safe, healthy, eager to learn, and ready to succeed when they enter school. The organization helps to provide emergency essentials to families in need.
