Chief Petty Officer Wesley Mathew Collins Jr. Entered into his enteral home on December 4, 2021 after his long battle with Dementia and Parkinson’s. He was in the arms of his loving wife Stacy. He was preceded in death by his mama Doreen Moore Huber and his daddy Wesley Mathew Collins Sr. and the two precious babies that God had other plans for. After graduation at Meade County High School in Kentucky, Wesley joined the United States Coast Guard where he earned the title of Chief Petty Officer and was also attached to the Federal Drug Enforcement Association after his career in the military he also went and became an ordained minister with a PhD degree in bibliography. He has also worked with several sheriffs’ departments doing undercover work, communication, and emergency management department. He has touched and impacted many lives. He also held a master mason title with Belleview Masonic Lodge 95 in Belleview, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Stacy Collins of Summerfield, FL; daughter, Rebecca Gilliam (David) of Grand Ridge, FL; sisters, Kim (Ken) Moll of Louisville, KY, Doreen (Max) Lee Radcliff of KY; mother-in-law, Kate Bell of Grand Ridge, FL; father-in-law, William Perkins of Wausau, FL; grandson, Charles Martin Downs of Grand Ridge, FL; cousin, Anthony Bryan of Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021, 1:00 PM at Beyers Funeral Home in Lady Lake, Florida with services to begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jim Lynch and Chaplain David Butts officiating. Interment to Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida will be Monday, December 20, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Mason rights and military honors will be performed at the services.

The family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project and Disabled American Veterans in memory of Wesley.
