Marion County looking to fill hourly, salaried positions

Marion County is currently accepting applications for dozens of hourly and salaried job openings.

A handful of salaried positions are available with starting pay ranging from $38,000 to $114,000. Those positions include:

  • Public Services Librarian II ($39,998 to $56,331)

  • Infrastructure Analyst ($54,870 to $77,084)
  • Inspector Plans Exam Supervisor ($54,870 to $77,084)
  • Environmental Services Engineering Manager ($80,953 to $114,025)
  • Animal Center Veterinarian ($80,953 to $114,025)

All applicants must be adults (ages 18 and up), and a high school diploma or GED is required for most positions.

According to the county, each applicant must also pass an assessment test, background check, driver’s license check, and drug screening.
