Joyce Ann Baron, 74, of Ocala, FL passed away on November 20, 2021 in Ocala, FL.
Joyce was born in Washington, D.C. to Elmer Wallace Moore and Helen Marie Moore on August 14, 1947. She graduated from Surrattsville Senior High School in Clinton, MD.
She began her career as a secretary for the police department and went on to a career in the federal government. She retired as a GS 13 Program Analyst from the Department of Army. Joyce enjoyed bowling, gardening, and watching Hallmark movies. She loved jewelry and can be seen in a commercial for her favorite jewelry store. Joyce loved to crochet, and she sold her creations at the Ocala Downtown Market. She adored her three cats Sweet’ems, Beau, and Bailey. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she received so much joy decorating and hosting family and friends. Joyce was an active member and volunteer at Meadowbrook Church. Â Joyce is survived by her husband Silas Baron of Ocala, FL; her daughter Stephanie Goldenberg and son-in-law Randy Goldenberg of Annapolis MD; her grandchildren Quinn Kastle, Samantha Goldenberg and Maya Kastle of Annapolis, MD; her sister Karen Amorose of Ft. Washington, MD, her brother Wally Moore and sister-in-law Terri Moore of Covington, Georgia; her sister-in-law Tobey Fierst and brother-in-law George Fierst of Leesburg, FL, and her sister-in-law Debbie Hughes of Severn, MD. Â She is pre-deceased by her parents Elmer and Helen Moore, her brother Bobby Moore, her sister-in-law Nancy Moore, and her brother-in-law Maynard Paul Baron. A celebration of life will be held at Meadowbrook Church 4741 SW 20th Street, Ocala, FL 34474 on Sunday, December 26 at 3 p.m.
