According to the MCSO report, Wooden stated, “I have some weed. I just bought it so I can take it home to smoke.”

When asked to step outside the vehicle, Wooden again stated that the marijuana was to smoke and that he knew it was over 20 grams.

Wooden stepped outside the vehicle, handed the two baggies to the deputy, and he was detained in handcuffs. The deputy searched the vehicle and found a pink suitcase located in the back of the vehicle.

Inside the suitcase, the deputy found three separate vacuum sealed bags that contained a green leafy substance.

The two plastic baggies that Wooden handed to the deputy weighted 58 grams, and the three vacuum sealed bags weighed 1,554 grams. The green leafy substance in each bag field-tested positive for marijuana.

Wooden was arrested and transported to Marion County Jail where he is currently being held on $2,000 bond. He is facing a felony charge for marijuana possession over 20 grams.

A court date has been scheduled on Tuesday, February 8 at 9 a.m., according to jail records.
