Irene G. Caruthers, 92 of Ocala passed away at Estelle’s Hospice House on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Mrs. Caruthers was a lifelong resident of Ocala, she was a retired book keeper for Clardy Oil Company. She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Ocala. She is survived by Daughters, Alana Inman and Donna Springer; Sons Carlie Caruthers, Jr and Ronnie Caruthers; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlton E. Caruthers, her parents Emmett and Iona Griggs and 2 brothers. Visitation will be from 5-7 on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala with Dr. Edward D. Johnson officiating.
