According to the victim, Nowaczynski began screaming and woke her up at around 3 p.m. Nowaczynski told her that she had hit him during the previous night.

When the victim told Nowaczynski that she did not know what he was talking about, he allegedly became livid and placed his hands around her neck. She recalled being unable to breathe while she was being choked and she urinated on herself.

The victim stated that Nowaczynski let go of her and slapped her on the left side of her face. The impact of the slap caused a nosebleed.

Nowaczynski allegedly restrained the victim inside the home’s garage after the attack. When she attempted to leave the garage, Nowaczynski allegedly grabbed her and pushed her back inside. She told the deputy that she was finally able to climb out of a window when he was not looking.

The deputy observed bruises on the victim’s neck, redness on her left cheek, swelling on her eyelid, and a small mark on the bridge of her nose.

Nowaczynski was at the residence and claimed that the victim had multiple personalities. He told the deputy that the victim never remembered what she did to him.

Nowaczynski was arrested and transported to Marion County Jail where he is currently being held without bond. He is facing felony charges for domestic battery by strangulation and false imprisonment of an adult.

A court date has not been scheduled yet, according to jail records.
