The City of Ocala is soliciting quotes for a licensed contractor to provide grounds maintenance services at multiple fire stations throughout the city.
The request for quotes is currently posted through the City of Ocala’s Procurement and Contracting Office and runs through Wednesday, January 26 at 2 p.m.
The project includes mowing all grassed areas 34 times a year, trimming areas that are inaccessible by mowers, removing trash and debris in and around the area to be mowed, controlling weeds, and edging sidewalks and curbs, according to the scope of work outlined in the request. The contractor would be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, and labor.
The contractor must be licensed as a commercial applicator with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer services, and the contractor must also have at least three years of experience in providing mowing and grounds maintenance services.
