A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash that occurred in southwest Ocala on Tuesday.
According to the Ocala Police Department, three vehicles were involved in a crash on SW 19th Avenue Road. The eastbound lanes were temporarily blocked from Walmart to SW 24th Avenue.
One person, a 57-year-old woman, was trauma-alerted to the hospital, and she passed away from her injuries.
One of the vehicles involved in the accident had a multi-colored, short-haired dog that ran away from the scene. The dog (pictured below) is wearing a pink surgical cone and was last seen running toward Panera Bread.

The names of everyone involved in the accident were not released.
