A new fine art exhibit from the Ocala Art Group’s members will soon be on display at the Brick City Center for the Arts.
The exhibit, titled ‘Stroke of Genius,’ features the work of 30 OAG members who were challenged to create their own art inspired by one of these famous artists: John Singer Sargent, Winslow Homer, or Mary Cassatt.
An opening reception is being held at the Brick City Center for the Arts (23 SW Broadway Street in Ocala) on Friday, February 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.
The exhibit’s judge, artist David D’Alessandris, will announce award winners at 6 p.m., and light refreshments will be served until 6:30 p.m.
Following the reception, the exhibit will remain on display at the gallery through Saturday, February 26.
