Marion County residents will be able to fine-tune their archery skills during an upcoming workshop.
The Marion County Parks and Recreation department is kicking off its three-session Archery Workshop on Thursday, March 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Silver Springs Archery Range located at 5227 NE 35th Street in Ocala.
Two additional workshop sessions are scheduled on Thursday, April 28 and Thursday, May 26 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
During the three sessions, workshop participants will learn the finer points of archery through a variety of games and activities. The lessons will cover archery safety, equipment instruction, proper shooting form, and shooting etiquette.
The workshop is open to anyone ages 9 and older, and there is a $20 cost per participant.
