Motorists traveling on State Road 24 in Alachua County are being urged to use caution due to an active wildfire in the area.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the wildfire is located in the area of State Road 24 between NE 49th Avenue and NE 63rd Avenue.
Since visibility may deteriorate quickly due to smoke on the roadways, motorists are encouraged to reduce their speed and utilize low-beam headlights in order to adapt to changing weather conditions.
