MCPS looking to fill vacancies during upcoming career fair

Marion County Public Schools will be looking to fill vacancies across multiple district departments during an upcoming career fair.

On Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., MCPS will be hosting its career fair at the World Equestrian Center’s Expo Center Two located at 1750 NW 80th Avenue in Ocala.

During the family-friendly hiring event, candidates can apply for dozens of jobs in various departments. MCPS is seeking teachers, paraprofessionals, school bus drivers, food service workers, custodial crew members, and more. Qualified candidates may even receive instant job offers.

The career fair will include shuttle bus transportation from parking lots, free horse shows, shopping opportunities, dining venues, and free activities.

Full-time positions include a benefits package with a retirement plan, life insurance, and health care insurance; a free Employee Assistance Plan; paid time-off; a family-friendly work schedule; and opportunities to make a difference for students.
