The Early Learning Coalition of Marion County is preparing to host a free educational event for families with children ages five and younger.
On Friday, March 25, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., ELCMC’s Help Me Grow: Books, Balls, and Blocks event is being held at 2300 SW 17th Road in Ocala.
The event will include games and activity stations that are designed to stimulate each child’s development. Participants will receive free books, balls, and blocks while supplies last along with child development resources.
During the event, as the children participate in developmentally appropriate activities, parents will learn how to observe and evaluate their child’s development.
According to ELCMC, the nonprofit organization provides families with access to quality early learning programs that nurture each child’s learning potential and prepares them for their educational success.
