‘Horsemanship’ art exhibit by Walter Israel now open in Ocala

A new art exhibit, ‘Horsemanship’ by artist Walter Israel, is now on display at the Recreation and Parks Administration building located at 828 NE 8th Avenue in Ocala.

The free exhibit is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and it will remain on display through Thursday, May 26.

Walter Israel is a German American artist who currently resides in Ocala. After 30 years of experience working as a graphic designer in Germany for renowned publishing companies, he moved to Florida to pursue studio art.

Israel’s work has been displayed in print publications and galleries. In 2019, he earned the 7th Place award in the Western Art Rodeo Association’s “World Finals Dry Medium” competition.
