Helen Roche, 86, of Ocala, Florida passed away at her home March 28, 2022. She was born April 26, 1935, the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Belcarz) Gladkowski. Helen was a native of Detroit, Michigan before moving to the Ocala area in 1998 from Heartland, Michigan. She married her loving husband, Bernard G. Roche, and together the two shared over 60 years of love and happiness before his passing in 2018. Helen was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Helen is survived by her children, Mary Catherine, Joseph, Michael, Mark, and Walter; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jamie, Daniel, Kyle, Brooke, Alex, Mark Jr., and Zachary; and her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Bernard; and grandson, Travis.
A funeral mass for Helen will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, April 1 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church (6455 SW State Rd 200, Ocala, FL 34476). Visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services (9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL 34480) Thursday, March 31 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband at Mount Hope Memorial Garden in Livonia, Michigan.
