According to the victim, she had gotten into an argument with Zavorski because she did not want to travel to Daytona. During the argument, she stated that Zavorski began punching her repeatedly in the face.

The victim told the deputy that Zavorski also attempted to choke her. She stated that she tried to fight back in self-defense.

The MCSO report indicated that the victim had bruising on her neck. Her eyes were swollen and bruised, and the deputy also observed bruises and scrapes on her left forearm.

Zavorski had left the residence prior to the arrival of the deputy. One of Zavorski’s relatives spoke with him on the phone. That relative told the deputy that Zavorski claimed to have only hit the victim one time and that nothing else had occurred.

On Tuesday, April 12, Zavorski was located, arrested, and transported to Marion County Jail where he is currently being held without bond. He is facing a felony charge for domestic battery by strangulation and a misdemeanor charge for domestic battery.

A court date has not been scheduled yet, according to jail records.
