Fine Arts for Ocala is preparing for the return of its popular event, Symphony Under the Stars, this weekend.
The concert is being held at the Ocala Golf Club (3130 East Silver Springs Boulevard) on Mother’s Day, May 8. The gates will open at 3 p.m., and opening act Left on Broadway will hit the stage at 5 p.m.
The Ocala Symphony Orchestra is scheduled to perform at 7 p.m., and the concert will conclude with fireworks at 8:45 p.m.
Tickets for adults (ages 18 and up) are $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the gate. Admission is free for anyone ages 17 or younger.
Concert attendees may bring food and beverages, and plenty of food vendors will also be on site. The venue will sell beer and wine, and there will be chairs available for rent. Chairs must be rented before the event and can be purchased with a ticket.
No tents, big umbrellas, grills, or pets are allowed, but picnic-related items are permissible (food, water, soft drinks, beer and wine, chairs, tables, blankets, and flashlights). All attendees are also encouraged to bring hand sanitizer and masks.
Fine Arts for Ocala is in need of volunteers to help with setting up the event. Click here to sign up as a volunteer.
