The Fort King National Historic Landmark is continuing its Classroom in the Garden series this week with a class that will focus on pollinator-friendly gardens.
The Butterfly and Pollinator Gardening class will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 6 at Fort King National Historic Landmark, which is located at 3925 E Fort King Street in Ocala.
During the class, participants will learn about the importance of pollinators such as native bees, butterflies, honeybees, beetles, and flies. Participants will also learn about various plants that are beneficial to these insects.
There is no cost to attend the class, and it is open to the public.
