A launch event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marion County is being held in Ocala this weekend and the community is invited.
The two-hour event will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7 at the MLK First Responders Campus, which is located at 515 SW Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
Throughout the event, those in attendance will learn about mentoring services that are available for the youth in Marion County. There will also be free food and drinks, ice cream, and fire truck tours.
