Ocala Recreation and Parks Department to host weekly line dancing event for ages 50 and up

The City of Ocala is encouraging residents over the age of 50 to put on their dancing shoes for a weekly event that kicks off later this month.

On Tuesday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Ocala Recreation and Parks Department is hosting ‘Footloose Line Dancing’ at the Barbara Gaskin Washington Adult Activity Center, which is located at 210 NW 12th Avenue.

The free event will be held on every Tuesday, beginning on May 31 through August 9. There is no registration required, and participants can simply show up at the activity center and head straight for the dance floor.

For more information on upcoming activities and events, visit the Ocala Recreation and Parks Department webpage.
