A driver and passenger were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala on Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., Ocala Fire Rescue units responded to a motor vehicle accident with rollover and possible entrapment in the 2300 block of E Silver Springs Boulevard.
Upon arrival, the OFR units (Engine 3, Rescue 3, Squad 7, Battalion Chief 22, and a Safety Officer) observed a silver Ford Explorer with moderate front-end damage and a white Ford Titanium that was on its roof.


According to OFR, the passenger inside the Titanium was able to exit the vehicle, but the driver required extrication. Crews stabilized the vehicle, and the driver was removed from the passenger’s side.

The driver and passenger of the Titanium were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the Explorer did not sustain any injuries, and there were no other injuries reported.
The Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded.
