Geneva Fayelynn O’Brien passed away May 14, 2022. She was born Dec. 7, 1974.

How do you say goodbye???
I don’t want to say goodbye!!!!
Why do I have to say goodbye???
These and a thousand other thoughts and questions run through my head since Sat May 14, 2022 when you went home. But instead of goodbye I will say until we meet again as I believe without a doubt we will. Know this my gorgeous wife you leave behind a legacy of lives touched in so many ways that I can’t possibly list them all. But everyone you had a meaningful conversation, relationship or contact with was impacted by that interaction. You are already missed beyond measure by more people than I know, especially me. I pray that you are at peace and hanging out with all those who were waiting on the other side. Kiss my mom and dad and kick Kenny in the ass for me. So, until next time keep’em tight and CYA on the other side. Oh, and this one more time.

Ships

We first met a lifetime ago crashing into each other like two ships in the perfect storm. Neither expecting the collision and both unprepared for the damage. Tangled as one they sank together.

The pieces of wreckage that surfaced drifted apart on the currents of life. Taking on lives of their own while steering through the oceans of experience. Although stronger they could never be whole, as their hearts lay tangled on the sea floor.

A volcanic eruption built a new tropical island raising the entwined essence onto its rocky shore. New tides brought by the winds of change carried the crafts to the warm sands of the virgin paradise. Both rediscovered the buried treasure of their hearts gleaming in the golden sun.

Using the magical powers sealed in love, a new ship was built. Now our hearts sail as one to explore the uncharted waters of the future. From now and forever more we are one on the same course to the horizon of our dreams.

Thank you and love you always your Boo.
