There are a handful of concerts remaining in the 2022 Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series, and the Ocala Cultural Arts Department is still looking for volunteers.
For each live event during the series, the city is seeking volunteers to interact with attendees, take surveys, and have fun at the events. The volunteer roles include the following:
- Levitt Green Room Attendant (ages 21 and up) from 5 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.: this role offers protection and provides service in the green room. Attendants will provide access to band members by opening the door, and additional tasks include refilling food, removing trash, and tidying the green room as needed.
- Crowd Cruiser (ages 14 and up) from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.: this interactive role involves taking surveys, speaking with concert attendees, dancing, and tossing t-shirts. Volunteers are expected to be comfortable with basic technology since surveys are collected on a tablet.
The final concerts of this year’s Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series will be held at Webb Field (1501 West Silver Springs Boulevard) on the following Fridays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.: June 3, June 10, June 17, June 24, and July 1.
Volunteers are needed for each of the above concerts, and all volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and refreshments. Visit the 2022 Levitt AMP Ocala Volunteers webpage for more information or to sign up as a volunteer.
The free concert series is a ‘rain or shine’ event, and if a rain call is made, the concert will be moved indoors at the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center (1510 NW 4th Street).
